Since the end of 2004, we at FWG have been operating one of the first nine-layer flat film systems for the manufacturing of hard films. The systems five extruders are able to co-extrude nine polymer layers in a smoothing and chill-roll process.
This provides you with many new options:
- We are able to combine up to five different materials in a sensible and durable way.
- Your dream film might have one or several barrier layers.
- We are able to provide you with durable laminated film made of polymer combinations which normally delaminate.
- High-value additives might be integrated in one or several layers in a pre-defined manner.
The range of applications of our nine-layer system is further extended by:
- in-line hot and cold laminating,
- change between chill-roll and roller system,
- in-line corona treatment,
- in-line application of liquid coating media .
