Folienwerk Wolfen GmbH has been producing co-extruded PET films for more than 15 years. It started its operation immediately after Germany’s political reunion. The company’s success is based on the fact that its team of engineers and employees all had years of experience in research and development and contributed their technical know-how in the manufacturing of films made of polyesters. As one of the first companies in the industry, Folienwerk Wolfen produced co-extruded PET films in a 5 layer process. This wealth of experience enables the company to develop and produce individual customized films for most different applications. FWG’s films are high-value materials with optimum product parameters which are used in an increasing number of applications, be it thermoforming, surface refinement in all possible ways, the perfect printability using all common printing techniques or the entire range of machining options.
