RecyClass certification according to EN 15343:2007
January 2025 - we have successfully had our ECO-R-PET films certified by RecyClass. We can now guarantee certified processes and mass balances according to EN 15343:2007
Innovative in recycled plastics
Folienwerk Wolfen GmbH is a founder member of the PET Sheet Europe, a EuPC sector group of PET film and sheet manufacturers that have production facilities in the EU and EFTA.
Main activities within the organization are focused on the recycling process. We are using recycled plastic behind a functional barrierfor a long time already. The functional barrier technology is currently under review under the novel recycling technology route to regulation (EU) No. 2022/1616.

100 % green energy from renewable sources
Since July 2023, we have been manufacturing our products with 100% energy from renewable raw materials. In doing so, we are making another important contribution to climate protection.
Innovative through research
This year, the Donors’ Association for the Promotion of Sciences in Germany has again recognized our research activities with the “Innovative through Research” seal of quality.
